The Ultimate Blanket was invented by Judith Pothier,
a person with mobility disabilities, to use when traveling outside in her power wheelchair.

The double sided, non-pill fleece lining of The Ultimate Blanket is soft, warm and inviting, while the durable water-repellent exterior gives added confidence.

The Ultimate Blanket’s outer fabric is made of 600 denier polyester with a durable water-repellent urethane coating. What does this mean? 600 denier polyester is thread that has been twisted 600 times within a one inch area. This type of polyester is used in manufacturing luggage because of its strength and durability. Water-repellent fabrics are more effective than water-resistant fabrics and the urethane finish causes the water to make little beads when it hits the fabric rather than soaking through.

For people with disabilities who use wheelchairs, The Ultimate Blanket provides added relief from distressful cold and wet weather and immerses them into a depth of coziness.

Distributed in the USA and Overseas, The Ultimate Blanket is a perfect accessory or gift for people using wheelchairs in outside activities.

People with disabilities, who use The Ultimate Blanket with their wheelchairs, no longer need to be restricted indoors because of the discomfort from cold or wet weather. They will be able to venture outside and experience the freedom of taking care of errands, going to work or school or just enjoying the outdoors.

The Ultimate Blanket consists of one unit with two parts; the body and a removable foot piece. Both parts of The Ultimate Blanket have a fleece inner lining which is double sided and non-pill; and the outer fabric is made of 600 denier polyester with a water-repellent urethane coating that has the strength and durability of luggage.

The removable foot piece zips on and off and has a water-proof bottom that will extend the wear of the product and give added protection against wetness. These features offer a way to stay comfortable, warm, dry, and active regardless of the weather.

Control Covers for Power Wheelchairs

The Control Cover’s main purpose is to keep the power control of your wheelchair dry.

The Cover slips over the wheelchair’s power control and is fastened by a Velcro tab. Made of the same materials as The Ultimate Blanket, the Control Cover has a fleece lining and the outer material is water-repellent. The added benefit of the Control Cover is that it also keeps your hand warm and dry.

Power controls for wheelchairs come in different sizes and shapes. To help adjust to this difference, the Control Cover comes in both a Small and Large size.
