People with disabilities, who use The Ultimate Blanket with their wheelchairs, no longer need to be restricted indoors because of the discomfort from cold or wet weather. They will be able to venture outside and experience the freedom of taking care of errands, going to work or school or just enjoying the outdoors.

The Ultimate Blanket consists of one unit with two parts; the body and a removable foot piece. Both parts of The Ultimate Blanket have a fleece inner lining which is double sided and non-pill; and the outer fabric is made of 600 denier polyester with a water-repellent urethane coating that has the strength and durability of luggage.

The removable foot piece zips on and off and has a water-proof bottom that will extend the wear of the product and give added protection against wetness. These features offer a way to stay comfortable, warm, dry, and active regardless of the weather.

The Ultimate Blanket was designed with convenience and ease of use in mind. Its Velcro closures make it easy to get on and off and a draw cord allows for a snug fit at or just above the waist.

As an adaptive product, The Ultimate Blanket addresses one of the barriers facing people who use wheelchairs---the need to keep warm and dry in a wheelchair while outside.
